Prevnet iPhone startup on connecting iPhone to Mac
« on: May 08, 2014, 01:23:07 PM »
I am using PM 5, build 15451 on a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.9.

Whenever I connect my iPhone to the Mac (to use it as a Personal Hot Spot, mainly), PM automatically starts up. It doesn't open the ingest dialog, as it does when I mount a card in a reader, but starts normally.

How can I prevent this?

Check your Image Capture preferences.  It must be launching PM when you connect your phone.

I'll also add that when you check Image Capture, I think the iPhone needs to be connected to have the ability to change the behavior
