Tagging isnt working properly
« on: October 31, 2014, 08:44:43 AM »
I have PM tag my Images when I hit the letter T and move on to the next Image automatically, however, just recently, when I hit the letter T, It doesnt always tag said Image, BUT, it still moves on to the next photo.
Checked my keyboard and the letter T works flawlessly any other time so I know its not the letter T.

Any help would be appreciated, has anyone else experienced that?
Thanks

What OS are you running on your computer?  What version of PM5 are you using?  Where are your images stored?  What kind of images are you tagging?

I need more information from you.

Thanks Kirk.
Im running windows 7 64bit
PM 5 version 15277
Images are stored on a 3TB drive. ( not on OS drive where PM is stored)
It's Canon 5d Mark III Raws.
Like I said, everything has been working fine for months with this setup, only just noticed this happening today.

Thanks
John

Since your PM 5 build is out of date, I suggest downloading and installing the latest build:

If the problem still persists after updating to the latest build, please let me know.

From a quick test it seems to have worked. Hoping it stays that way, its difficult to know. when culling 1000's of images, having to keep checking is time consuming.
i appreciate the support though.

Out of Interest, Is this a problem other users have had? Is this the reason for an update?
Thanks

Various users have had tagging/rating/color class problems over the years.  I had you update since your revision was older and it's quite possible that your version had an issue.  I didn't consult any list of fixes though.  It's just good to have you on the latest version as a starting point for further work towards solving your problem.  At this time, it appears that your problem is solved, but if it wasn't solved we would now know the problem exists in the current version as well and I would begin asking you more questions and I would use your answers to try and find out what is wrong.
