Problem with Licence key
« on: February 04, 2015, 01:15:52 AM »
Working on a Dell laptop running Win7 Pro edition using latest build.

Over a year I ahve this problem coming back every now and then.
I would start PM and it says my licence is not registered.
It is not consistent but seems to appears when the laptop is not online. Although it did it now and the laptop is connected to WIFI.
Not a huge problem but can be annyoing when on deadline.
The good point is now I know my licence number by heart  8)

Are you aware of other users with same issue and do you know a fix ?

Best

Hi,
Right now, in another thread, I have just commented that I highly appreciate the fact that on can work with PM without an internet connection (in the field, for example).
Have you checked the number of activations of PM you have used? You can see that by logging in your account in PM's site.

Photo Mechanic requires no internet connection once it is activated.
Is your license key alphanumeric or only containing digits?

I know of no others having intermittent activation issues.

It is activated 3 times, maybe my former work laptop is still counting for 1.

Once I had no connection and used the trial and now it tells me the trial has expired and therefore need to reactivate in order to use it, that's why  I need a connexion.
Only digits, bought it in 2012.

Contact sales@camerabits.com and reference this thread.  The can give you a new alphanumeric-style key that is much more flexible with its ability to manage activations.
