Ctrl+T and F2 not always working
« on: February 09, 2015, 08:18:32 AM »
Under Windows 8.1 and 16268 (and 15800) the following sequence does not work:

1. Open PM
2. Click on a directory
3. Ctrl+T to select tagged photos (this works)
4. F2 - View Selected does not do anything

This sequence will work:

1. Open PM
2. Click on a photo
3. Click on a directory
4. Ctrl+T to select tagged photos
5. F2 - View Selected now works

Deven,

2. Click on a directory
3. Ctrl+T to select tagged photos (this works)
4. F2 - View Selected does not do anything

This sequence will work:

1. Open PM
2. Click on a photo
3. Click on a directory
4. Ctrl+T to select tagged photos
5. F2 - View Selected now works

In the second example, how do you click on a photo if no contact sheet is open?  As for the "click on a directory" step, do you have PM set to open folders on a single click?

Sorry, should have been:

1. Open PM
2. Click on a directory
3. Click on a photo
4. Ctrl+T to select tagged photos
5. F2 - View Selected now works

Deven,

So the only difference between these two scenarios is that you selected a single photo prior to selecting tagged photos, correct?

Deven,

While the Navigator has focus, F2 starts a rename on the currently selected item.  You need to give focus to the Contact Sheet first.  It is not necessary to select anything however.
