Recovering IPTC Stationary Pad data
« on: January 24, 2007, 10:50:56 PM »
I just reinstalled my computer and need to restore my stationary pad data from a backup.  Where do I find it?

It depends on what OS you run on your computer.  What OS are you running?

Ooops, sorry, Mac OS 10.4.8.

Open up your Home folder.  Then open the Library folder.  Then open the Preferences folder.  Find the file titled "com.camerabits.PhotoMechanic.plist".  Copy that file to the same place on your new system.  Also if you want to copy all of your snapshot settings and saved searches and multi-folder favorites, copy the folder titled "com.camerabits.PhotoMechanic" to your new system as well.

HTH,

-Kirk
