Shortcut for edit picture

Any chance of adding a shortcut to the file-edit photo function? And how about a shortcut to open selected photo/s in Lightroom?

Edit Photos is Command-E (Ctrl-E on Windows)
If you make LR your default editor, Edit Photos (Command-E) will do just that.

Thanks, when right clicking on an image the option to edit is there but with no shortcut key listed beside, so I assumed there wasn't one. Great that there is.

Remember to assign the editor in Preferences, as you can see in the picture attached.
