Compress as zip in Send by eMail

PM Photo Mechanic Version 5.0, build 15800 (e6ecc1c)

We often need to send images compressed as zip or they do not show up in our clients email as attachments, just in line low res.

This means we can't use the email feature in PM
Could we add an attach as zip option using the finders zip compression?

Not using the Finder, no.  PM has zip compression/decompression built into it already.  Some TIFF files use zip compression so we added the zip library to Photo Mechanic years ago.

I've been thinking of adding a zip option to both uploaders (FTP/SFTP) and to the emailing feature for some time now.

I think that would be a nice addition to PM. I frequently have to go out of PM to zip files and send them by mail because of their size...
