Viewer does not open - error in OS X console

In a contact sheet with round 3000 images loaded it's not possible to open the viewer on OS X 10.10
I get on the console the following error:
Photo Mechanic 5: *** - NSTextView replaceCharactersInRange:withString: nil NSString given
Please see attachment for more details on this log entry.
I use the latest version of PM. The Loupe tool does work inside the contact sheet.
Thanks for a hint/solution :-)
Greetings Uwe

What build of Photo Mechanic are you running? You can view the build number in the About box in Photo Mechanic.

Kirk, I'm using Photo Mechanic Version 5.0, build 16299 (579a307).
I had solved the issue by deleting all preference files from PM, and now it works...
Thanks!
Greetings Uwe
