Keywords made in Photomechanic 5 not showing up in lightroom 5.0

Hi, There seem to be many topics on keywords in general but none that address a problem I am having. Am using PM5 build 16299 and LR 5.0.
When I am in the PM contact sheet I populate the IPTC stationery pad with a few items -- mainly description/caption, keywords and location data. I then 'apply IPTC stationery pad to selected photos' and drag & drop them into lightroom 5.0. The LR5 import dialogue opens up and import goes ahead. The location data can then be found in the metatdata section of the lightroom develop panel, but the keywords are never imported with the pictures.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
These pics are jpegs. Havent triied any other file types.

Please post a sample JPEG that contains keywords set in Photo Mechanic.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your JPEG file.

Heres an attachment with a sample jpeg. I clicked the 'i' in the lower left corner of the photo when in PM contact sheet, then clicked 'apply stationery pad' with various iptc fields ticked and filled in.

Your image has one "keyword": "GAA Hurling U14 vs Taghmon 4 June 2015"

It is properly formatted in the metadata in the file and any application should be able to see it.  Have you told Lightroom to re-read the metadata?

I will find out how to get LR to read that for each photo being imported.
