star rating not importing

Hi guys,

I use PM to do my ratings and my edits in Capture One.
For some reason the star rating is not imported anymore. Keywords no problem.

In C1 settings I have
IMAGE -> META ->Auto Sync, FULL
and checked both boxes Prio embedded XMP before IPTC and Prio sec XMP before embedded meta

Maybe I am doing something wrong here?

I really have no idea about the embedded xmp in the RAW images.

I have attached the image settings in the preferences...

I have checked the 2 check boxes in the bottom and the auto sync is set to full (i have attached an english image I found on google since I am using the dutch version)

Please post one of your images that C1 doesn't recognize the rating on (include the XMP sidecar file if you have one) and I'll take a look at it.  If the metadata exists and is correctly formatted then you'll likely need to seek support from the C1 folks.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your files.

The XMP sidecar file has a 3 star rating:

   xmp:Rating="3"

The embedded XMP has a rating of zero stars.  You'll either need to allow PM to embed XMP so it can keep the rating in sync with your XMP sidecar file's rating, or you'll need to find a way to get C1 to ignore embedded XMP.  The XMP that was written into your CR2 file appears to have been written by your camera and has a rating of zero.

Thanks for your reply. I also contacted PhaseOne and they are aware of the problem. It seems an 8.3 problem.
Hope they fix is soon
