Order of loading code replacement files
« on: Today at 03:09:05 AM »
Are the following assumptions correct?
  • When manually loading code replacement files (Edit -> Settings -> Reload Code Replacements), the code replacement files are loaded in the order specified
  • When enabling Edit -> Settings -> Set Code Replacement: Automatically Reload Code replacement files when they change, only the changed file is reloaded (and subsequent files in the list are not reloaded)
I am asking this because I have multiple code replacement files that re-define certain codes, e.g. core.txt contains =&cap=, the text for a generic captions, tennis.txt (following core.txt in the order) re-defines =&cap=, the text for a specific tennis caption, and tennis.rc-finals-men.txt again re-defines the text for a caption from the finals. For non-finals matches I simply do not load tennis.rc-finals-men.txt and still get a correct caption for tennis using =&cap=. And if I want to caption a non-tennis event I simply disable the tennis specific CR files and still can use =&cap= to get the generic text of my caption.
