Slideshow saturation
« on: April 04, 2019, 03:08:56 PM »
When running a slideshow in PM 6, the colors are overly saturated. I'm using a 2017 15" MBP with Mojave 10.14.4. The images are fine when previewing (both in PM and elsewhere). I first noticed it with JPGs, but the same behavior is on display with RAFs.

Toggling 'Color manage previews for display' on or off doesn't change anything, nor does choosing a different ICC profile from the drop-down list under the Color Management settings. The original jpg has an sRGB profile in its EXIF and was processed with Capture One Pro 12.

Am I missing a setting?

No.  It's a known problem.  We'll address it in a future build of PM6 (meaning not the next build due this week.)

Hi Kirk,

I downloaded the latest release of PM and I don't think this issue has been sorted yet. Is it still on your list?

I'm sorry.  It never made it to the bug tracking system.  I just added it now.

Sorry to bug you again. Any idea when this one will be tackled? I'm using C1 and it's not very proficient in producing slideshows but ever since v6 came out, neither is PM. Colors are still way too saturated in slideshows.

Thanks & stay safe!

I've tried.  I don't know how to solve the problem.
