We are pleased to announce an update to Photo Mechanic Plus for macOS and Windows. This new build of Photo Mechanic Plus addresses a number of issues present in the 6738 build.

https://www.camerabits.com/download/PMPlusSetupR6784.msiOn macOS, Photo Mechanic Plus requires Mac OS X 10.10 or higher If you are using a Mac with macOS 10.9.5 or older, you will need to upgrade to macOS 10.10 or higher to use Photo Mechanic Plus.
On Windows, Photo Mechanic Plus requires a 64-bit edition of Windows 8 or higher. If you are using Windows 7, or lower, you will need to upgrade to Windows 8 or higher in order to use Photo Mechanic Plus.

• Added: Allow Licensors phone number type to include an unspecified option.
• Added: Disregard case on sorting of IPTC lists.
• Added: Support for more file types in Live Ingest. Live Ingest now supports all still media types. It also pairs HIF files with RAW and WAV for renaming.
• Added: Visual context for individual file upload status to Uploader window.
• Added: {rand3} and {rand4} variables for 000-999 and 0000-9999 ranges.
• Fixed: Uploaders - the number of "Sent:" files does not accurately reflect the number of successful transmissions.
• Fixed: Thumbnails do not appear correctly in exported web gallery when # symbol exists in image file name and 'Use original filenames for images' checkbox is selected.
• Fixed: Live ingest "STOP" takes too long on slow NAS volumes.

• Fixed: Retouchup uploader - display notification when selected retouching level isn't supported.
• Fixed: {altitude} variable no longer returns a value for some files.
• Fixed: Ignore "Whole words" setting in Find and Replace when more than one term is used.
• Fixed: Photoshelter uploader will cause high CPU usage when no account is added.
macOS:
• Fixed: Cursor appears before first character in Metadata Info and Template windows if typing begins too quickly.
• Fixed: Import/Export Prefs - Long entry names aren't displayed.
• Fixed: Deselecting 'Enlarge photos to fit previews and slide shows' checkbox in Preview Preferences no longer functions for lower resolution images.
• Removed: "Automatically Rescan when folder contents change" from Contact Sheet preferences, as it is no longer functional on modern macOS systems.
Windows:
• Added: Warning when deleting folders from Navigator and Favorites.
• Fixed: Contact sheet does not update when right-click dragging a selection to the Navigator/Favorites and choosing to move files.
• Fixed: Close contact sheet tab after deleting folder in Navigator and Favorites.
