Have to Rescan each time new photo taken during live injest

I'm running PM 6.0, build 6784 on my MB Air M1, OS Ventura 13.2.1.  I'm tethered in using Sony remote with my Sony A1.  I've set the source folder to a folder named "capture" and primary destination root path to a folder named "import".  Both on my external Crucial SSD.  Everytime I take a photo I have to go to the View tab and click rescan for the photo(s) to populate in PM.
I can see in Finder that the photos get exported immediately from my capture folder into the destination folder.
What am I missing or doing wrong?

You have "Open Contact Sheets during Ingest" unchecked. The Contact Sheet that is showing the Ingested images needs to be opened by the Live Ingest operation in order to automatically refresh. Close the contact sheet and then check that box and a new contact sheet should open when you begin the Live Ingest and you should see the images shortly after they are ingested to the destination folder.
