Is there a way to select the view by star rating without using the vulcan death grip of apple+option+shift+fn+f1? It seems like it should be an option in the drop down menu with all, selected, tagged and untagged.

Yes, use the 5-star rating filter at the bottom of the window.

Hi Scott, you know you can turn off the Fn key for accessing normal F1-F12 keys? ;-) So it will work like any normal computer should (I am still dumbfounded by Apple for turning the option of requiring Fn key for F keys on by default...)
