Deleted picture in dropbox folder don't go to the trash

Mac OS X Sonoma 14.2, Mac mini M1, Photo Mechanic Version 6.0, build 6890 (ffcbb4c).

When I delete pictures in photomechanic from a local dropbox folder, located in /Users/~/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox, the pictures don't go to the trash, just disappears...

I have the "Move photos to Trash when deleting" marked. If I delete the picture in the finder it goes to the trash.

The answer is the same as in that thread. Photo Mechanic is making a system call when deleting items. Whatever happens after that is in the hands of the operating system or any other software that might be trying to manage the contents of that folder.
