I regularly have different file formats in a folder — RAW files from various cameras (.CR2, .CR3, .dng) or .JPGs. Up until now, I could simply enter ".jpg" (in lowercase) in the "Find" field in PhotoMechanic 6, and it would select all JPEG files, regardless of whether the extension was lowercase (.jpg) or uppercase (.JPG). The same applied to RAW files. Unfortunately, this no longer works in the new subscription version of PhotoMechanic. It would be great if "Filenames" searches could once again be fast and straightforward — without having to worry about case sensitivity…

Its a bug we are aware of and will be fixed in the next build we release.

For what it's worth, it is only an issue in the Universal Binary version, so you could switch to the latest Intel-only build until we are able to release that update.

That build can be found here: https://forums.camerabits.com/index.php?topic=16591.0
