Any way to apply camera raw preset as part of xmp sidecar file?

Hi --

I love Photo Mechanic --

But I am combining it with Image Ingester which I would like to get away from -- but it allows you to apply a camera raw preset to your files as you copy them.

Is there any way to do this already in Photomechanic?

No, there is currently no facility for executing external applications on your images as they are being Ingested.

Has there been any consideration for any such capabilities in the future? Perhaps some sort of API? I have several simple ideas on this subject, but haven't posted anything about it yet. Would there be any interest?
