Do you plan to support the Hasselblad .3FR file?

I have looked at several samples, and none of them contain any preview data in them, so the only way to support them is to write a RAW converter for that file format.  It is not high on our priority list to make Photo Mechanic into a RAW converter at this time.

I don't know why the Hasselblad folks can't embed a simple JPEG preview in their RAW files.

Hi Kirk,

 to revive this old track. It would be tremendously useful to be able to show previews of 3FR files (shooting with CFV II 16 and 39). As Aperture, and hence Apple ImageIO supports 3FR, it would be great of PM could do so too.

I've you're on a mac, enabling the OS built-in RAW rendering inside PM may be able to help you in this case too.
Go to preferences | RAW, and set "Enable RAW rendering (using Apple's ImageIO).

It shouldn't make any difference.  We have to add an internal 'plugin' for each supported file format.  There currently is no 3FR plugin in Photo Mechanic.
