Edit EXIF?

Hey guys,
Is there a way to edit the EXIF data yet?

I have some HDR images that I would like to add back in some of the Camera Data into the EXIF fields.
I looked at EXIFTool, but ... well, it's not what I was looking for...

Well, I would have suggested exiftool as it is the only tool I know of that is capable of fully editing exif data. But since you don't want to use it, I'm at a loss 

Why don't you actually want to use exiftool anyway?
