URGENT -New Ingest Errors

I have been using Photo Mechanic for about a month without any problems.  Suddenly yesterday while ingesting I got an error I hadn't received before.
I am using the latest version of Photo Mechanic 4.6.3 and Windows XP.
I am copying photos "into dated folder and then folder with name"
File name"23120100323{seqn}_NCAA_BASEBALL_University_of_Central_Florida_at_University_of_Miami"
Seqn=001
Error:
Error copying: I:\DCIM\102NC_D3\DSC_7259.JPG to: H:\Photos\Southcreek\20100323_NCAA_BASEBALL_University of Central Florida_at_University of Miami\20100324\20100323_NCAA_BASEBALL_University of Central Florida_at_University of Miami\DSC_7259.JPG

When I look at the appropriate folder, the main folder is including the followng name

.tmp_000011a000000001.jpg

The back up folder is adding 001 to each photo and not increasing, it is also adding a letter at the end of the file.

Must be an obvious mistake I'm making and not seeing.

URGENT response appreciated as I need to upload these photos ASAP.

The only thing I can think of is that your path (directory path + renamed filename) is quite long.  Try making the path shorter, or make the filename shorter.
