Anyway to import matching RAW of JPEG selects from RAW/JPEG pairs?

I would like to initially import JPEG's from my card, select the 'keepers', and then import only the matching RAW files for those selects (Apple Aperture has that ability...) - anyway to do that with PM?? Seems a good way to balance speed/efficiency with optimal image quality.

No.  Though other than the time to copy the files, PM is not hindered by RAW images unless you force PM to render RAW files.

It's not PM that I am worried about hindering- more that for some images the RAW can save the day in post, but I hate to tie up resources on drives etc for lots of RAW's that aren't needed. That's where the option to bring in a few select RAW files that match the JPEG's can help.

As a workaround, you could import the JPGs, rate them, import all the Raw files and sync the ratings across raw+jpg, then you could delete the non-select Raws.

Sounds like a good idea -How does one sync ratings from the JPEG to the RAW??
