Hi Kirk,

Thanks again for the extended tryal,

I am running the 5376 build, but since I decided to start from scratch did not run into the problem I had before. Running well so far, but I did encounter a strange behavior, let me know if I should start a new post for these.

I can not seem to be able to remove my favorite folder, they keep coming back.

And on a side note question if I may, why would I use multiple catalogs versus one big catalog with all my images? I started with one catalog for each year but in doing so I can not use collections across multiple catalogs, this is the main reason I would use a single catalog for, been able to organize my catalog, at least this is what I was use to do in lightroom.

Thanks again for all your help.

Paulo

I'm guessing you're talking about the ones with the red "not" symbol on them?

And on a side note question if I may, why would I use multiple catalogs versus one big catalog with all my images? I suggest having a single larger catalog instead of several smaller ones if you want to create collections of items that span catalogs.

Yes, the ones in red. I remove them but they keep showing up again.

Is there a way to import from one catalog to another or I do have to start from scratch if I one make it into one single catalog?

Thanks

Do those folders/locations no longer exist?

No.  There is no import/merge facility to make two (or more) catalogs into one.  You could either start a new one and delete the others, or you could take the largest catalog and add the items from the other catalog(s) to it and then you could delete the other catalogs.

You're welcome and thank you for your purchase.  Was your problem solved with the current build of Photo Mechanic Plus?

And has the problem with the Favorites and the missing paths that you can't remove gone away?

It seems like it is solved. I did manage to relocate a folder, but not the one I was trying before, maybe there was something wrong with the catalog or the drive. Since I started from scratch now it seems fine.
But the favorites are still there, I right-click and remove them but after quitting and reopening the program they come back.

OK, thanks.  I'll write up a bug report on this.
