Tagged images not appearing v5

Hi,

I have a problem whereby images tagged in camera (Canon in this case) do not show when I select the 'Tagged' option from the dropdown menu on contact sheet. IMages show if I revert to 4.6.9.

Any pointers as to what I may be doing wrong ?

Which camera model?  JPEGs or CR2s?

I use 1D MK IV and 1D MK III, same result with both cameras..... I only shoot jpeg so cant comment on the RAW.

This and a similar issue have a fix coming with the next build.

Since you're stating it's JPGs having the problem, it's possible you have the setting in the attached image set to Never. Change it to Always for now.

It was set to 'always' already, by default I assume ?

Hi Kirk,

Downloaded beta 3 a couple of days back but I'm still having the same issue. Images tagged in either the Canon 1D MK 4 and MK3 still dont show up when I select the dialogue from the drop down.

However, if I tag images already ingested from within PM using the 'check box' and then select 'tagged' from the drop down the images sort correctly.

The images in the screenshot below, highlight with the lighter background... I tagged a few of these whilst I was shooting so I could find them quickly during edit. As you can see none are checked with a 'tick' in the box.

What exactly are you doing when you "select the dialogue from the drop down"?  What dialog and what drop down?  What item do you choose?

Please see image attached, using this option in previous versions would allow me to see only the images I had tagged in camera...

For me they don't show up tagged in PM 4.6.8 either. They seem the tag being removed completely upon ingest.

If you ingest those same photos on the card with PM 4.6.8, do the tags show up in the Contact Sheet?

What PM5 build number are you running?  Can you send us sample files that come directly off the card? (Don't access them with PM when uploading.  Use some other application to upload.)
